I have been a client of Helmet Hairworx for the last 8 years in both the Midtown and Va. Highlands locations. I love the talent, style, atmosphere and most of the people. My stylist, Susan Kelley, has mad skills. My entire family goes to her. I love the fact that I can sit in her chair and say, "Do whatever you want?" andI come out with an awesome cut or cut & color every time. Randy, the owner, is so welcoming, engaging and entertaining. Helmet Hairworx recharges my batteries at every appointment!

Run, do not walk to Helmet in Virginia Highlands. I have been going there a couple of years now and seeing Susan Kelly each time. She is a wizard with my hair and my hair color. I could not be more pleased - not only with her, but the shop itself and all of the personnel - especially Scottie. I would drive a lot of miles for the experience.

I get my hair cut here by Susan, who also did my hair for my wedding...as well as many others. She is always great with a fresh sense of style and adorable personality! Also had my wedding makeup done by Tina of Helmet in Midtown...who was also fabulous! She is a pro- totally fresh, not overdone, and lasted all night!

I get my eyebrows waxed by Susan. She's amazing. I've been twice and had a great experience both times. I'd highly recommend her and helmet. She's extremely professional and personable. The prices at Helmet are also very reasonable.

I recently had to change stylist and a friend referred me to Helmet in the Virginia Highlands. I ended up with a stylist named Susan - who was great. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made a few sugestians. I've never had better color or such a flattering cut. Her ideas lead me to the best look i've ever had. I would highly recommend her to everyone. She had the best personality as well.
