I grew my hair out for months and as any male with longer hair knows, there is a 2-4 month period where it's in 'awkward phase' and there's nothing you can do with it. After it started to get long and became too fluffy, I was suggested to go in and have it flattened on the sides and the top. That's all I asked for. Flatten / De-volume the sides and top. By the time I left, I had a mushroom cut as if I was I trying to emulate Nick Carter from The Backstreet Boys era. Upon final inspection, I accepted that I had pointlessly gone through the 'awkward phase' and would never return to Junko. Tomorrow, I will make an appointment at SuperCuts, pay half as much, and be ten times more satisfied.

I made appointment with Larry for a trim and shaping of an existing bob, just needed a clean up at the nape. Showed Larry a picture of what I wanted. His perception was totally distorted, he completely butchered my hair and cut over half the existing length. Worst experience, for this reason I despise visiting salons, the stylist just dont listen or understand. $45 for a dry botched up cut, a horrible shape and style. I will never return nor recommend anyone to junko hair.

This is the kind of salon that is suitable for just an average guy like myself or someone wanting a full service salon. The prices are reasonable and the location is convenient. By the way, Kiki is the BEST!
