I made an appointment at this salon under the false impression that all Toni & Guy's were awesome. I didn't have the time to travel into the city to get my hair cut and I told this salon that when I made my appointment a week in advance.
I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early, and 30 minutes later I was served. The lady - Laura - not only served me 20 minutes late, she:
- consistently added $10 on to the (supposedly standardised RRP) price of any further work I wanted done;
- overcharged me $10 more than I was told on the phone;
- only cut one side of the back of my hair - what was supposed to only be a trim - nothing fancy like a new style. I've had better hair cuts for $25 - I was insulted at $114!
Steer clear of this one folks - not all Toni & Guy's are worth their awesome reputation!
I felt really at home at this salon. Sometimes the 'designer label' experience can be pretentious, but I really enjoyed my experience. A++
