These people destroyed my hair. They were sugary sweet and more than happy to take my money, but as soon as I came back to report that the extensions had been put in incorrectly, they became very nasty! Very defensive and wouldn't even take the extensions out for me without charging me. On placing the extensions, they used too wide a selection of hair at the roots placed pressure on the roots and were ripping my hair out. The lady tried to dupe me by saying that my hair was brittle and "breaking", but you could literally see the root still on the hairs in sections which were falling out. It was awful. Not only this, but the glue used on the extensions ended up melting all over my scalp from nothing more than the exposure to the sun. I kid you not... I always took cold showers, kept all hair dryers away from the roots and followed their hair care instructions to a tee. Plaited my hair every night before bed, etc. . I ended up with matted glue all over my scalp! It was horrendous. I paid $1000+ for these extensions. They told me they would last 6months, they lasted 1 and stuffed my hair. My sister is used to be a hairdresser and trained at a reputable hairdressing school in the city. I went to Zo-Zo's because she was overseas at the time I wanted the extensions placed and she was really appalled when she saw how they were put in. I also spoke to the ladies at another salon and showed them what was happening. They were equally shocked by the poor quality and shoddy treatment. They razored the crap out of my hair to get the extensions to "blend" too, so on taking the extensions out, my hair was an absolute mess and quite a number of inches shorter. I suffered a major illness years ago which caused me to lose most of my hair. It took me a long time to grow it back, so to have my new healthy hair destroyed like this left me absolutely devastated. There was zero compassion from the staff here. I know other people who've had bad experiences; a good friend of mine ended up with lop-sided hair... because apparently it's too hard to cut in a straight line. Stay away!
