While their spa is awesome (and I still love to go) their salon was not. I had my hair done by a 'master stylist' for my brother's wedding, and walked out of there looking like a wet dog. My curls were gone by the time I got home, and I'd asked for some braids in my half-up hair...they charged me $5 PER BRAID! Apparently she did 4 because I was charged an additional $20. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of, braids take a whole 15 seconds to do. My total bill was $75 for a hair style I took out when I got home. Save your money and go to Blo down the street. They charge $30 for a wash and style. Super disappointed.

I have never before cried at a hair salon until I went to Lavish. The worst experience I have ever had by far!! I was there for over 3 hours for 3 foils and a cut. I left with tears in my eyes, a horrible color and a cut that was just plain awful! The only reason I left that night was it was 10:30 pm and they were already closed. I was told to call back the next business day to have a different master stylist fix it. Ummm I booked with a master stylist already and look at what happened. Ok, so I call this morning and get "so what exactly is wrong with your hair?" Me.."everything". She then goes on to tell me that they are fully booked today and what other day can I go in. Yeah, I don't think so. I have resorted to wearing a hat as my hair is some orange yellow color and very uneven. Now, she said she needs to contact the owners and will call me back. Doubt I am going to get a call back. Worst customer service ever and worst experience of my life!!!! Don't waste your time, money and your hair!!!

I first started going to Lavish based on a referral from a friend...and I've been a loyal client for almost a year now. My stylist, Kelsey, is amazing and always sends me out of the salon feeling and looking amazing. The atmosphere and positive vibes in the salon make me feel welcomed and relaxed (okay, okay...the complimentary scalp massage, hand massage and make-up touch up help a little). Last week, I tried the spa for the first time and was given a fabulous facial by Lindsey (my skin was literally glowing after). I would highly recommend Lavish to anyone looking for a great salon and spa experience...5+ stars!

It's an OK salon overall. In terms of service cannot be compared to Aveda Institute Salon or Civello in TO. The only thing I loved - Aveda products (and my hair looks much better than it was before). Complimentary Aveda Sensory Rituals were completely messed up (about 20-30 seconds as the longest, usually about 5 minutes at Aveda Institute or Civello), no consistently (I've done my hair only at Aveda and each and every time any location had same consistency of the sensory ritual - just make you feel rejuvenated), many steps were missing. Scalp massage was rough and unpleasant, no oils. Did not feel welcomed by hair stylist (although, girls on reception were very welcoming). hair stylist seemed like being in a rush, pulled hair VERY harsh with a brush/or hands. My expectations were to come and relax, unfortunately it didn't happen due to pain when my hair was pulled. Probably, wasn't my lucky day! Will be trying to find another Aveda Concept Salon in the area.

I recently was referred to Lavish and I had a great experience! The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I visited the salon for a simple wash and style and received a scalp massage, hand massage, cappuccino, and make up touch up all complimentary! I was so impressed with the service that I already prebooked a color and I cannot wait to visit the spa for a relaxing pedicure in preparation for summer. I found my salon/spa!
