I was really looking forward to going here, but after my appointment I wouldn't go back. I also wouldn't recommend to anyone. It is very unlike me to give a bad review, as I usually give a place the benefit of the doubt, however I've never been so angry on leaving a hairdresser before, that I felt it was necessary. I was travelling to Mogeen from centraal station. There was an incident on the trams, so had to walk most of the way there, meaning I was late for my appointment. I arrived to the salon at 6.27 (appointment had been scheduled for 6.15pm). I apologised and explained the reason, however was given a cold response and explained to 'we're closing at 7'. In my opinion if it's not enough time for you to cut my hair well, tell me to come back another time and I would have happily have made another appointment. Instead I was sat down in the chair and treated like I was a hassle to them. She proceeded to cut on damp (from rain), greasy hair. I asked if her she was not going to wash (as I deliberately hadn't washed as I knew I'd get my hair washed there, and also had my hair tied back all day, and my fringe pinned back), to which she replied 'there's not enough time'. I requested a straight-across fringe, which looked fine at the time, but as soon as I washed my hair when I got home was completely squint because it wasn't sitting right when she cut it (because it hadn't been washed and was pinned back). I wasn't offered a drink or anything, which is the first time in an upmarket salon in about 10 years. I also wasn't offered a magazine or spoken to for half an hour, leaving an awkward atmosphere. She finished at 6.55 and then proceeded to charge me the full 60 euros, even though they hadn't washed and had given me rubbish service. I wish I'd refused to pay the full amount at the time, but to be honest I just wanted to get out of there. I also had many friends ask me about this place, and i've told them my experience. So I'm sorry Mogeen, but you've probably lost a few potential customers because you couldn't be bothered to just schedule another appointment. I highly would NOT recommend this place, try somewhere else, there's plenty to choose from.

Tip: plan iets leuks op de avond na een Mogeen bezoek, want je loopt als een absolute stunner de tent uit. Voor een triple A coupe moet je hier zijn. Kundige knippers die weten wat ze met je manen aanmoeten, en hip gaat niet ten koste van goed. Beste colorist in town! Met folies in je haar kan je het Berlijn-meets-Tokyo-meets-Amsterdam interieur op je in laten werken, beetje mensen kijken, bijlezen in de VF, of een date plannen die na het zien van je nieuwe look meteen in katzwijm gaat.

Vandaag voor het eerst geweest en eindelijk zit mijn haar zoals ik altijd gewild heb! Klasse!
