I went, at a risk, after reading the reveiws. When I went in. It was empty. And I figured why. The man who did my nails, was very sketchy. His hands were shaking, as if he was on drugs. I was very uneasy. When he was finished it looked very good. But I was concerned about a few things. French tip was 30 dollars. And it was well spent. But if you want a high class nail salon. Don't go to star nails.
I recently moved to Placerville and this has been my favorite nail salon. I have tried a few other places but they were either too expensive or did not do acrylic nails. These nails stay on for a long time and look great. They have great airbrush designs like zebra print which look really cool. They are really nice and reasonably priced.
Am new in this area and i wanted to get my nails done for my b-day. My overal experince was dreadfull!! the guy doing my nails was to rough and made my cuticles bleed with the drill they use and my nails look like i need a fill already and their customer service sucks as well, they really dont care.
Huge language barrier, don't care if their customer's are happy, rough dremel process that hurts, and all the nails were uneven. Had to stop them from putting on the nail polish, as they couldn't even get the acrylic on right... it's thick, pasty, and took 2+ hours to remove. Seriously, I could have had a 8yr old do a better job.
they do not listen to what you want.. and make your nails all different lengths. really bad experience. I would rather drive 20 minutes than rather go back here.
