I don't know what's wrong with these negative comments! Island Nails has done a good job on my nails! They have a clean shop also. The crew have a lot a potential and personality! They are wonderful. I like how they deal with the customer. Perfect job in Island Nails. Everyone go check them out, you will love them.

I went to Island nails on 7/26/2013. I went in after I got off work and left in a hurry. I looked at my nails later that night and didn't like the way they were done. So I called this morning 7/27/2013 I explained to Andy that I was dissatisfied & wanted them to fix them. I went in a few hours later and showed him my nails. Some were uneven thicker on one side. One nail had the corner of the white tip filed off and they tried to cover it up by putting a thick piece of acrylic on the corner. I was showing him & he handed me $20 back that I paid the day before & said that was all he could do for me. So I left, when I got to my car my cellphone rang. I answered and it was Andy telling me he talked with the other ladies in the salon & could no longer offer me services. I didn't go in there for a refund I went in to have them fix my nails. They were completely unprofessional. They acted like I sabotaged my nails just because. I wouldn't recommend this place for nails. I've had pedicures & they're decent but treating your clientele like that causing u to lose business is completely unprofessional & I'd rather not spend money with a business that treats it's customers this way.

I went into Island Nails on May 30, 2013 with three other people. Most of the reviews that I read were good, that's why I chose this salon. I had a pedicure and a manicure. Both were okay at the present time. I took a shower that night & one of my finger nails had already chipped. Two days later several finger nails were chipped. I noticed several hang nails that were not removed on my fingers, they were tucked into the side of the nail. The charge for a manicure and a pedicure at Island Nails is expensive, but we treated ourselves because it was a special occasion. It's really ridiculous to pay a lot of money to get a poor quality of work. Don't worry we won't be going back to Island Nails and we sure won't refer anyone else to them.

I have been here twice and I have got a gel manicure BOTH times. Cindy does a great job and she makes sure they look good. I definitely recommend this place!

The couple that own and run island nails are awesome. She is a perfectionist, redid my right hand about four times until she got it right. He is kind and patient, a lovely man. Their prices are great and they actually pay attention to the quality of their work. Their gel OPI manicures are a great investment. My color lasts for a month, without fail. Plus, I watched them interact with regular customers who they genuinely seem to care about, which is something seldom seen these days. It's a great change from the place in the mall who rush you in and out, destroying whatever they were trying to do in the first place.
