I used to go here growing up and went back twice in the last year. The first time I went back, the dude jammed the razor into the back of my neck and cut me pretty bad - everybody was asking what happened for the next week. I was not offered even a free haircut for that mistake. Go back a second time, ask for a high & tight, I get a tight & tight - buzz cut, which is definitely not what I wanted, and I'm pretty sure the dude knew. Also no offer for a free haircut. So go here if you want someone to mess up your hair, scar the back of your neck, and ask to get paid for it.
Conner's has a lineup of experienced, personable and professional barbers. They treat newcomers as well as they do the regulars, which translates to their adding regulars all the time. That's great for customers, who are assured of the full staff staying on duty to help us out. I started going here thanks to Mark Conner, a fellow cyclist. He is the original owner's son, and always does a great job AND we talk cycling, sports, local events. He shares his wealth of knowledge freely, all the while efficiently cutting my hair as crisply as anyone ever has. I recommend Conner's Barber Shop without reservation---by the way, no reservation needed, just walk in!
