Lydia is the BEST!!!!!!! My hair has never looked so amazing in my life. I would go to her and let her do whatever she wanted in full confidence that it will look great. I know multiple people who go to her and will never go to anyone else. I would, and do, recommend this salon to EVERYONE

Lisa Jackson is the absolute best hair sylist there is. She works magic. The Avenue is the best hair salon I have ever been to. Makes me feel like I am in a big city! Love everything about The Avenue and the employees!

I've been going to Avenue on and off for about 10 years. They do an amazing job with color, and their spa is amazing as well. I recommend booking a mani-pedi or an eyebrow wax. You won't regret it! I will say they can be pricey, though. It will be about $130 to get a cut, style, and color. I've been quoted less by them before, but always end up paying more.

Horrible salon! Every time I go there, I never receive what I want. Every acquaintance that say they have been there have had a terrible experience there, especially when it came to getting their color done. If they mess up the color, do not expect a reimbursement. When they turned my friends highlights pink when she asked for blonde, they were not going to give her her money back or a redo. Finally a stylist gave in after an extensive consultation. Another woman I recently talked to said they turned her hair purple and refused to redo it or give her her money back. When they finally decided to redo it for her, they complained the entire time. Rude, gossipy and very unprofessional. I will never recommend this salon to anyone!

I have been going to The Avenue for almost 16 years now. I love it there. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The stylist are always professional and the owners are fun and friendly. Great asset for Saginaw!
