All retail places should take their customer service as seriously as Amanda does. Her "self-diagnosed OCD" prompts her to take her time and pay fine attention to detail when she cuts hair. The services she offers are worth way more than she charges for them.
The attention you get is very individual. She provides a very relaxing atmosphere and has a way of making me forget the crap in my life for a while when I get my hair cut. I have only gone three times, but overall the service at the Groom Room has blown away any other services offered by other haircutting places.
I highly recommend getting the "Hangover Helper" along with your haircut. It's WELL worth the extra $10. Most guys won't admit to wanting to be pampered. Amanda allows the opportunity to feel like you're getting a very unique and special experience with zero blow to the male ego.
