I'm a mystery shopper. Your staff was very quite. Grabbed my leg instead of asking me to put my foot on his KNEE instead of a platform to do my toes. Never spoke a word to me through the whole process. Slapped my foot with a file. The side of my toenails aren't even polished. The worst service I've EVER received in a nail shop. The man in charge of the register obliviously was bad sick, he was coughing up stuff and his eyes were watering and i mentioned why doesn't he just go home so he doesn't spread his illness and i got the ugliest look I've ever had from a foreigner in this country. Wouldn't rate this shop one star but i had to so I could inform the public how horrible my experience was. Bad mistake to do business here.

I walked in to get a POINTED tip, white polish manicure. A very sweet manicurist started on my nails immediately. I then started to speak to my manicurist about the details of what I wanted with my manicure (an accent nail, etc.), asked if I could buy a gift card there, how I was likely to get eyelash extensions there too. I was being nice and asked him if he liked his job and other things. Another man who worked in the shop who had been idle on his smart phone with is feet propped up very quickly came over to the station I was occupying and stood over my shoulder looking at the work being done. I thought nothing of it, and I greeted him politely. Instead of being polite in return, he in so many words told me that I was talking too much and that I was in danger of ruining the work of my manicurist, and that it would be all my fault if anything bad were to happen, and that my speaking was a burden to him, even if I'm offering his business my patronage and cash. Every other nail salon I've been to have had very vocal and polite nail techs! He told me to basically be quiet until my nails had been sculpted and to THEN, and only then, give the details of what I wanted with my manicure. And this was all while their lobby had other patrons inside. I was so angry then, that I told him that we BOTH had better be quiet right now and quit speaking to each other before I walked out and refused their services without paying a single cent. At the end of my session, I ended up with very ROUND tip nails instead of pointed like I had asked for because I was so rudely told to hold my desires, concerns and, wishes to myself until the rude worker--and not the actual manicurist who was working on me--wanted to hear them. I was livid. So I paid my $28 and left. I declined an accent nail. declined eyelash extensions, and I declined buying a $100 gift card for my mother (from them). I thanked my manicurist for doing such a "good job." He didn't give me exactly what I asked for, but he was sweet. I stood and took one of their business cards, and faced to confront the rude manicurist who hadn't even been doing work on my nails, and had been idle the entire duration of my visit until just then. I looked him in his eye, and he gave me the respect of acknowledging me. I told the man, who then had started to work on the nails of another walk-in customer while I was leaving, that I was going to leave a very bad review only about him on the Internet, never return for any of their services, and warn all of my family, friends, and you readers to think twice about walking into that place. I said some other stuff, too, to him in the lobby in front of other customers, to pay that employee back equally. My observation: he is a lazy jerk, the one with the scruffy face and ill-fitting pants. It's such a shame he makes the entire business look bad. And I'm now stuck with a manicure that IS NOT what I asked for. The business sure did miss out on and lost a potentially large amount of money from me due to his rudeness (eyelash extensions and a $100 gift card during that same visit). And all the employees have him to thank for that. Don't waste your money here. Go someplace that appreciates your patronage! I know of many other places that will give you great service.
