They have cut my hair perfectly every time I have visited. Love the mobile check in. Came in once when the place was packed but since I checked in through the mobile app, I was next in line.
After reading the negative reviews I was hesitant but still in a hurry and it was the closest place other than Wal-Mart, and that's is a whole 'nother story I won't go into. I had a great experience, prompt service which isn't even something I look for usually, and she did a fantastic job. One of the best haircuts I have ever had in my opinion. I sat down , explained, she asked questions, I answered, back and forth a little with the explanation and she nailed it. At first it didn't seem like she knew what I wanted when she got started, but boy it turned out perfect. Her methods were simply different than I am used to and I visit Great Clips regularly just not that location.
My fiance has gone here 3 times and every time his hair has looked terrible. All he wanted was shorter on the sides and longer on top, just faded/tapered. Every time, he's come home with ragged edges where they switched the clipper grades and you can just tell that they didn't know what they were doing. They don't listen to your requests, they do what they want. Horrible service for sure.
I have always been able to get in there with a minimum wait. They are very friendly, but if you are looking for the same person to cut your hair this is not the place. Every associate that has cut my hair has been pleasent.
I'm sure there are some very nice, competent employees at this location, however, my experience was not good. Some of the staff was complaining about there being a service dog in the salon with one of the customers, which I found to be very rude. All I needed was a bit of a trim and to try out some new bangs, which I had a picture of. The bangs I got are almost an inch shorter than the picture! All of my curls were brushed out and hair was cut dry so when the trim was complete it was just a big frizzy mess, impossible to tell if the cut was any good or not. I'm kicking myself for not going to a nicer salon.
