Excellent job. There is little to no wait. The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. I regularly get my nails done and I would have to say that they are the best so far they did an amazing job. Very pleased.
I love that it's open on Sunday. That's why I came here. It seems many people wanted their nails done because it was packed and I ended up waiting 45 minutes. The man who did my nails went way too fast (for a full set gel application). He accidentally nicked my fingers with the nail file and apologized once, but still ended up doing it two more times. When I was done under the UV light, he made my apply my own cuticle oil. The cuticle oil, which sits in the same place with the same brush, unwashed.
Horrid. I'm not big into Mani/pedis, but it was my girls day out and I was game for pampering. My friend failed at getting us into Eden day spa, so we opted for the mall. The place looks gross, the chair Hurt my back, and the scrub they used to massage my calves and feet made me break out into hives. The Mani was worse, she cut me a bit and spoke such little English that I had no clue she planned on making my nails white with black crackle paint. It smudged and gooped up a lot. I could have done it better. She asked me 3 times if I wanted my eyebrows done, which I took as a hint, so I said sure. Mistake. She missed a lot of hair so it looks like I have smudged eye makeup on. So much for pampering. It was only $60 for all of that, but still not worth it. I'll never go back.
Mani/Ped spa treatment is wonderful. People are friendly ad the prices are a bargain. Will definitely be back.
I know that typically mall pedicures are average, at best, so I wasn't looking for anything spectacular when I walked into Elite Nails. I was greeted by an older man when walking up to the store by him asking "What do you want?". I assumed his English wasn't great, so I brushed off the rudeness. Next, I sat in a chair that appeared to not have been cleaned in few customers. (Smeared fingerprints on the armrests, crumbs in the seat, and I can only imagine what bacteria lay in the tub.) I waited for a few minutes when a young hipster man came out and failed to introduce himself. (Again, I assumed it was a lack of ability to speak English, but I later found out he could speak English rather well, but was just rude.) He began to file my nails. He did not trim them, nor did he ask if I wanted them trimmed. He did not clean my nails, nor did he ask. Then, he trimmed (and I may argue, hacked at) my cuticles. He cut me twice. When I said "ouch" rather loudly, because it hurt, he looked at me like I did something wrong, or I was a freak because it hurts when you cut me. He did not clean the areas with anything, nor did he clean the tools he used to cut me. (Fortunately, I don't have AIDS, and I sure hope the last person he cut didn't either.) After the butchering was over, he scrubbed my feet. The scrubber was the only new package he opened in front of me and that I knew was clean. After the 30 second scrub, I sat back, relaxed and awaited the massage. Do you know that feeling you get on the top of your foot when someone steps right smack dab in the center of your foot with a high heel? That's what it felt like. I asked him to not be so rough, so he stopped, not lightened.... I guess that's for the best. Then, the paint... He put it on, then attempted to put my sandals on after he had painted. Well, he smudged paint onto my sandal and up my big toe. Then, he yelled at me like I moved. So, he slapped on another layer of paint onto my big toe nail, and left the paint on both my sandal and toe. He went to put the other sandal on and made sure to tell me not to move. As I saw he was going to smudge me again, I made sure to tell him I wasn't moving. I was in the chair for 20 minutes. I had a baby 3 1/2 months ago and hadn't had a pedicure since he was born. This was my "break". I left there more stressed and with uglier feet than when I walked in. Never again will I go there, and anyone I talk to will know how bad that place is. I'm off to soak my feet in alcohol.
