I scheduled an appointment with Trina. This was my first time there so I did not know who I was looking for. When I got to the appointment I walked in 10 minutes early. There were three stylists working with their clients. They were all in conversation and nobody looked up to say hello, welcome, have a seat, who are you looking for, etc. So, assuming that one of these ladies were Trina I sat down and began my wait. Approximately, 20 minutes later (which would have only put me 10 minutes behind schedule) one of the stylists finished with her client but they continued to talk for another 10 minutes. She periodically looked over at me but did not ask who I was waiting on or any other questions. I patiently waited another 5 minutes before one of the other two stylists asks, "Are you Sarah?" I said yes and stood up anticipating that this was in fact Trina. She made no other comments to me and continued with her client so I sat back down. Another 5 minutes pass and she goes, "Oh I know Trina must be worried sick for being late." At this point and 40 minutes of sitting in the waiting area this is the first acknowledgement that my stylists would be late. A few minutes later she gets a text and tells me that Trina is at an appointment and that she is running late but should be in within 15 minutes. I say that is fine as I have already sat there for awhile. She does ask at that point if I would like to reschedule. However, this appointment already took a few days to be set up and I have children in elementary and pre-school so my time is only somewhat flexible. After waiting around for another 20 (the 15 stated plus an extra 5) minutes and she has yet to show up, I just leave. I decided that I would prefer to take my business elsewhere. I will not be rescheduling with this salon Now, do I believe that Trina may be a great hair stylist? Yes, as I was recommended to her by a friend. However, I do not appreciate how the salon works in general. As a new customer coming in I expect at least acknowledgement that I am there and some type of verbal communication of who I have come to see (you even get that at Great Cuts). After seeing me sit there for some time and each stylist knowing that I am not their client I do not understand why one of them did not specify that my stylist was going to be late...MUCH EARLIER. I find that lack of professionalism inappropriate. I cannot say anything for the quality of their service for hair, but they could definitely work on their customer service.
They are awesome. I got my hair done there for the military ball and the person I had did a great job and they are affordable. I would recommend them to anyone
The best place you can go too in Clarksville. My mom and I love it there and will go nowhere else but to Hair II.
