Simply glorious!
I was in the area, and I have gone to their location in Green Hills before. I knew they were a bit pricey, but it was convenient. The experience wasn't too bad, but it definitely wasn't worth the amount paid. I normally go to the Illusion nail salon in GHs and pay $40 total for an amazing mani/pedi. Here they did a quick rub down (no in depth massage) on either my arms or legs. My shellac manicure started chipping the next day, and the white tips of the french part were bubbled, uneven, and cloudy looking. The paint on my toes began peeling off in about a week - the whole piece of it! Even though they may wear at the tips or chip in small places in a week, the whole nail shouldn't peel off! After it was all said and done I paid $75 to have to get a manicure the next week, again, elsewhere. When you have a sign on your door that says "Doesn't chip for 2 weeks!" it should at least last more than one day.
U would hardly call it a manicure that I got. On top of that, there's something she painted over with gel on my pinky so it's annoying. $40 is waaaaayyyyyy too much for what I got. No doubt.
I've been to this place 2 times and each time I've been VERY displeased with the service. My first visit I had a Pedi and it was the fastest and most uncomfortable pedi I've ever had PERIOD. During my 2nd visit (today) I had to tell the nail tech to slow down with my fill in, he rushed it and he didn't even buff out my nails properly. I was so mad I ended up going to my regular nail spot all the way in Antioch (30 min away) because they have never failed me. Lavender treats you like royalty!
I have been here several times and have noticed that your experience depends on which technician you get. There is one tech in particular who rushes through the nail service, doesn't buff it out enough, smooth the jagged edges or even make sure the nails are straight! Within 10 minutes, I need a nail file because I have huge clear polish bubbles that need to be filed down. I am constantly flinching because of the hard pressure of the drill. I have decided that if I go back, I will be more vocal and be less worried about hurting this persons feelings and more worried about making sure I get a good service that isn't excrutiating to get through.
