I applied for a job at Sohna in response to a craigslist posting saying that they were seeking a licensed massage therapist even though massage therapy is not a service not listed on their website. The listing stated that they were a new spa in Turkey Creek with a "large number of clients all ready available." I e-mailed them an application along with a copy of my resume. Upon arriving there, it was apparent within the first ten minutes that this statement on craigslist had been a lie. My interviewer's face was crestfallen when she found out that I did not have with me an abundance of clientele to bring into their offices. Apparently, it seems as though my resume was not looked over even once before I was asked to take time out of my day to come in for my most laughable interview ever (it is painfully clear on my resume that I am new to the business - not a problem for me, but something that should have been evident to them before they asked me to come in). I was then continually insulted by ridiculous offers as per compensation that showed a complete lack of knowledge on their part as to how massage therapy works in Knoxville. Applicant beware! Sohna is not a spa that provides massage therapy! They are a new company looking to leech %70 off of your all ready existing clientele!
