Ken gave me exactly what I wanted! A simple yet stylish haircut, beautiful color, AND I had a lot of fun hanging out with him in the process. It's important to me to have a hairstylist who interacts with you and is interested in not only your hair, but a bit about you as well. He was very personable and did a great job. I will definitely be heading back to him in the future for some more balayage ombré goodness! I highly recommend letting Ken do this technique. He's very good at it, and that's hard to find!

Great Men's haircut at a fair price. Ken moved into the strip center at Parmer and Rampart a few years ago and I hope he never leaves the neighborhood. He is a true professional. He is a one man shop, and has a lot of loyal customers because he is such a nice person. He takes walk-ins and is also very flexible with his appointment times. My son and I have been a regular customer for years and love that Ken knows what we like and does it efficiently and courteously. Although he would probably rather do the Ladies hair as they always look amazing when I am coming in as they are leaving, he can knock out a clipper cut in no time flat. Check him out. You'll be glad you did.

(copying the review I posted to Yelp) After going to Ken for over 2 years now, I suppose it's time to stop the procrastination and write him the review he deserves. Ken....is....AWESOME! I never know exactly what haircut I want, so I usually tell him to just do whatever looks best, and that's what he always does. I come out feeling beautiful with a glamorous-feeling, modern haircut. I've also had highlights done that were a complete success. He is fun to talk to, super affordable for the quality of hair he does, and his salon gives a peaceful vibe. I shall continue with Ken for as long as I'm living in Austin! P.S. it is cash/check only and he is usually booked (esp the weekends), but just give him a quick call and he'll probably squeeze you in somewhere!

Ken is absolutely amazing! He cuts both mine and my boyfriend's hair. I went to get a cut and color and couldn't be happier. He makes great suggestions, is so nice! Prices are amazing. GO HERE!
