I was booked with a woman who normally does hair, but was scheduled to do a mani/pedi for me. While she was very nice initially, and took extra time to try to fix her mistakes on my toenail polish, the end result was so bad that I had to touch it up when I got home. I was surprised that she was charging people to do their nails. Because I knew she was on a tight schedule, and the pedicure took much longer than it should have because of how many times tried to fix her sloppy work, I told it was okay to skip the manicure. Despite my pointing to the sign that advertised a $30 mani/pedi when I booked the appointment, she tried to charge me $45 for just the pedicure. I was shocked. I mentioned the two signs advertising the $30 price, and she said that her pricing was different. I've paid $45 for a pedicure before at "Nailed," and it was worth it. Their nail technicians there are excellent. But the pedicure I got at Beau Cheveux was worse that what I would expect to get at a nail school. I told her I would pay her the advertised price of $30, despite the fact that I didn't get a manicure. She was very short with me and said "Then it's free." I have mixed feelings about this, because I do think she did such a poor job that it probably should have been free. But I wanted to pay her something, so I offered to pay her the advertised price again and again, and she refused. I would not come to this salon to get your nails done, but if you do, get one of their regular techs, and settle on a solid price beforehand. The salon itself is nice, and everything seems clean.
I am so happy with BC Salon. I have found a new place to pledge my loyalties to. Thank you for doing such a great job and by far the best customer services.
Wow, talk about great service. I was greeted with a smile, excellent cut/color & the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Front end boutique had great gifts!
