Mango Salon - Libbie Grove
Reviews
I love Mango. I have been going for almost 4 years now and after trying a LOT of different salons in town. I've had long hair, short hair, colored hair and everything in between and have not been disappointed with their ideas and outcomes. I have always felt like the way I am treated at the salon plus my haircuts and styles (and the scalp massage during the hair wash) lives up to the prices. I especially love my current stylist Merritt although I hesitate to write that because I don't want it to be hard to get an appointment with her because everyone else falls in love with her. Oh well.
It is a very nice salon. I have been going there for two years, but recently am looking elsewhere. The quality of the haircuts is great and the experience is very nice, but with a recent layoff the prices are a little too steep. Jen, the manicurist is great. She does a really nice job. Josh is also a great hair stylist. He knows what he's doing and really listens.
Michael @ the salon in Short Pump is fantastic. He took such care and precision with my haircut (long layers initially seems simple in itself) and is very professional. Salon is highly recommended!
Sean Byrne is a magician with scissors. I've never had a better haircut in my life.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mango. I went there today for the first time and had my hair cut and styled by Sara (who is awesome). I am IN LOVE with my new hair. The salon is clean, the staff are super friendly and personable. The chairs in the hair washing stations massage you while you get a wash. They also offer complementary makeup touch-ups after you get your hair done. I can't wait to go back for my next visit!
