I had heard of Becks hair salon from a friend that lives in runaway bay. She was always delighted with her hair and colour after beck had waved her magic with scissors and tubes of colour. I was looking for a change and decided to change hair dressers. well, i'm so happy i did just that. My hair experience now is pleasant, efficient and cost effective. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend her service with a smile to anyone.
My sister who lives in the nursing home goes to this hairdresser who works on the premises Paradise Lakes Resort. This Hairdresser is completely independent from Paradise Lakes. There are a number of issues that I am not happy with. 1. She never let my sister know how much she was charging her for her hair 2. She would go to the Paradise Lakes office and collect payment of my sisters hair but never let my sister know how much and she went without my sister being there. 3. And when I phoned to talk to her about my sisters haircut (she has a slight brain injury) this hairdresser did not like me telling her how I wanted my sisters hair cut and hung up in my ear. I am now wondering how many of the other elderly citizens that go to her from this nursing home that she is exploiting. I would really consider about going or sending anyone elderly there as she seems to walk all over them.
