Our experience was just awful. The owner's husband offers 'master jeweller services' at the establishment. He completely ruined my wife's wedding band. He used some inferior metals material between a rail and the band as he could not properly align them flush against one another. This left a space between the rail and band. Then, he soldered through the gold band essentially melting the unique design work. The damage was too extensive for re-furbishment and we had to take it to a certified master jeweller to re-craft the ring. The guy said he would cover half the costs although we were asking for full costs. When presented the invoice after we had the repairs done, he said it was unacceptable and for us to sue him. He refused to reimburse the costs of his initial (botched) job or the new repair job required. He demands money up front. He would not respond to the Calgary BBB and they have assigned a F-rating (publicly available for review). We now understand for the past several years, he only wants cash, does not give an invoice/bill or charges GST... that should have been our first clue. Do not have your precious jewellery done here. There are lots of other complaints in town about him and his business ethics.
