I go to Kanata Nails a couple of times a year as a treat. LOVE it there - they do an awesome pedicure, and the technician is great - so friendly. The polish lasts forever - the nails grow out long before the polish wears off or chips. I don't know how she does it - when I try at home, the polish wears off in less than a week. I have terrible dry cracked feet after winter, and she's the only person who has ever gotten them looking decent. Other salons charge 2x the amount, and leave behind a ton of dry calloused skin. The prices are great too - in Kanata other salons charge a lot more. They are always busy - a good sign! I recommend to all my friends.
I thought it was not a good sign that the nail tech was waiting for business. She trimmed my cuticles to the point that they bled and did not do a good job of surfacing my nails. The nail polish she used looked very old and gloopy and chipped the next day. I had to ask her to redo a nail. I can get a much better $15 manicure at Elegant Nails. This one was $21. not going back. Only went because they were open on Sunday.
I think that the lady complaining. Seem to want more for the money she paid. I feel that if she was unsatisfied then she would have been better off if she told the owner of her experience. I Feel that her comments very unfair, given the fact that she had not made the store owner accountable for her service. I believe that in order to promote change one as to make a stand, by taking action. This kind of response does not promote change only further dissatisfaction. It was not helpful.
