If I could give this a zero, I would. I am a visitor to the lovely city of Whitehorse, and wanted a simple wash and style (otherwise known as a Blow Out) and the prices looked comparable to the other salons. I gave clear and simple directions, wash and blow dry with a round brush. The stylist, a term I am using very loosely here, asked me if I wanted a flat iron, to which I replied no and explained that my hair was pretty flat naturally and I was looking for some volume. When she broke out the flat iron, I was worried, but I am not a hairdresser so I figured she knew something about her products and tools that I didn't. I was wrong. 30 mins of flat ironing later, I looked exactly the same as when I walked in. The best part? They told me the flat ironing was an extra charge! Luckily the receptionist was incredibly polite and pulled the extra charge when I explained that I had not asked for the service and actually requested that it be done another way. I just paid over $30 to have my hair washed. Not worth it. Be warned visitors!
