No9 Men´s Hair
Reviews
After being recommended I recently took my young son for a haircut. I was very pleased with the service I received. We did not have an appointment but even though the shop was busy we did not have to wait too long. Whilst I waited for my son I was offered the daily paper, there was water available and a comfortable seating area. My son was very pleased with his newly styled, trendy haircut. We will certainly return again, highly recommend.
My teenage son goes to No9 for his haircut every few weeks and to be honest wouldn't go anywhere else. Great atmosphere, ambience and fab group of lads that work here. He always comes away completely satisfied. Good advice is always given to him on hair care and all at a very reasonable price. No9 is in a good location near to the famous NFFC and exceeds it's reputation by also servicing some of the Forest Players.
just wanted to say thank you to all the guys at NO9 we have just moved to nottingham and my boyfriend was looking for a good mens hairdresser (he is very hard to please) No9 was highly recomended, He said he found all the staff were very friendly, he felt at ease and relaxed especially as he decided to have a restyle and you advised what product to use and how to use it. He said your the only place he will come to and will recomend you to all his friends. He loves his new hair and i do to. wish you did ladies as i have to find somewhere
i travel just under 4 miles for a hair cut every 3 weeks and have not got a bad word to say about no9. the staff are very welcoming and even accommodate for when I take my new born and my partner in with me! I would highly recommend this barbers to any one I know. thanks guys and see you again soon :)
Terrible place. Showed up for my first haircut and was greeted by a "hairdresser" (using that term loosely) wearing an awful haircut that I can only describe as a faded mullet which is never a good sign if that person is cutting your hair. But I thought it will be fine, he does the Nottingham Forest players hair so it can't be that bad here so I got out my phone and gave him a picture of what I wanted and said "I want this on the sides please mate". Turned me round so I could see the build up of an England game and sat there thinking, "Hey! this place can't be bad, I'm watching the England game while getting a haircut". Then turned me to the mirror and he did it on one side then just shaved the other side off. His excuse was, "I just followed the line of the last haircut you got". If I wanted that then I would not have changed barbers would I? Being 15 I was kind of nervous and didn't say much other than "that's not really what I asked for" and proceeded to pay(which I shouldn't have). Went home and my brother told me it was my right that I shouldn't have to pay when he did something I didn't ask for. So I went back being polite and just admitted that I didn't say anything was because I was embarrassed and felt awkward. He then said I was lying and told me that the only reason I wanted my money back was because someone commented on my hair. He continued in being very rude to me and also said "look I don't want someone your age telling me how to cut hair. I've been doing it for 15 years!" even though this was my money I wasn't allowed to complain because of my age. So my mother of 55 went down and complained that I wasn't allowed to complain because of my age, and thus he reimbursed the £11.00 I paid after he laughed at her in front of his customers. So to wrap up this review, stay at least 50 yards away from this Barbershop at all time.
