NEVER AGAIN! I returned to this Great Clips on Friday, January 16th, for the last time. I am a patient and tolerant woman, but enough is enough! I have been a customer for quite a while, but something is going downhill here quickly! A few weeks back, I came in for a trim. As I entered the salon, I noticed one of the stylists standing outside talking to a male. Ok, I'm all about love and finding that perfect someone, so I waited patiently inside. The other stylist on duty, who already had a customer, kept looking toward the door, I'm sure wondering why she didn't come in because she OBVIOUSLY knew there was a customer waiting since I walked right past her into the salon. Well, I waited, and a gentleman walked in, sat down. The girl finally came back in...and took the man in because he had checked in online. WHAT????I had already waited for her to finish her personal business...I swore then I would never return. I was in a time crunch this past Friday, so I tried it again. Nobody was waiting. Each of the two stylists had a customer. One was a toddler getting his first haircut. The stylist was not a patient person in the least bit. If you can't handle children, tell the mom. Be honest. When that was finally over, the mom came toward me to check out, rolling her eyes as if to say OMG! The woman finished and the lady left. Then she called my name. I stood up and walked toward the counter. She turned around and started talking to the other stylist about why the tickets from the night before weren't processed. Ok, patient and tolerant, remember? I finally got in the chair, and discussed how I needed my hair trimmed because of split ends. This woman was so freaking rude! She stated it was the weather and all I could do is cut it above the splits. I have long, long hair. I showed her how much I wanted cut off. Her response was, "I can cut it but its not going to help...you will have to cut more." No I don't. THIS IS MY HAIR, NOT YOURS, I thought. She continued to rant and rave and I finally, very bluntly said, "If you mean cut my hair up to my ears, NO, I am not." She hushed and trimmed the ends, and cut my bangs. I had shown her what length I needed my bangs. She didn't cut enough, so I asked her to trim a little more on the front, "even with my eyebrows please." Her response was something like, "OH, now you want more off?" REALLY???? I could see the other stylist and her customer in the mirror---they were as shocked as everyone else in the building. When finished, I paid my ticket of $14.00 and left. I will never return. EVER. My bangs are crooked and uneven. When I try to use a curling iron, some hair hangs out and some falls through---UNEVEN. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. There are other salons in the area and it would do well for the owner to be in this shop paying attention to how customers are being treated. I do not want coupons, telephone calls, refunds....NOTHING. I just want others to know NOT to come here. I cant do a negative rating or I certainly would.
