Kim does a great job. I've been going to her for several years and am always pleased with the outcome.

From the tingly warm water scalp massage to the sure aesthetic sense and ability to converse about what I wanted (a businesslike hair cut with enough life left in it to appeal to my wife), Kim is a real master of hair -- art as well as power. I always leave the salon feeling paradoxically both younger and more myself, and it's all due to Kim's talent and superb, respectful work.

Kim is a true hair expert! Not only do I love Kim as a person, but she is also an amazing stylist and colorist. When I came to her, my hair had turned a very unattractive orangey/brassy color from past coloring. She used her impressive knowledge of technique and products to magically transform my color back to the brown/blond that I was aiming for. The amazing thing is that even as my hair grew, the color remained cool and attractive. In addition, she always cuts my hair in a way that truly flatters my face. The other day, someone I barely knew pulled me aside and said, "You have the most PERFECT cut for your face! Who cuts your hair??" This is one of many compliments I've received since Kim has been cutting/coloring my hair. Kim doesn't take the radical, over-the-top approach and the result is a hairstyle that truly suits the person; it is just an improved version of you!

Kim worked miracles on my hair!!!-she transformed my sad, damaged and orange & brassy yellow hair to a gorgeous & luminescent ash blonde. I had gone from espresso/black black to blonde with my former stylist--he did his best to remove the dark pigment over several weeks (3 five hour visits!) but it was beyond his skill set to achieve a consistent blonde without brassy undertones. Kim combined 2 different toners and a special hydrating treatment which not only gave me a consistent color throughout but made my hair look and feel healthy in 40 minutes! Miraculous. I highly recommend her.

Kim's got a great eye for color that fits. I wanted subtle the last time around, and she added a few highlights that were just what I envisioned. Most colorists highlight with LA-over the top streaks. Been seeing her for years and recommend to you. As a benefit, Kim's got a sweet, generous personality. J.A. Oakland
