The salon is beautiful & the owner is a very nice lady. I was very excited to get my haircut because I had done a lot of research, I HAD beautiful long thick hair (mid back) and wanted something new & trendy..I decided to go short. After doing much research I found a look that was specifically for people like myself, with thick long hair. I spoke to the salon owner on the phone & told her that I was looking for a change & what I wanted over the phone she sounded very confident & assured me she could achieve this look for me with her 36 years of experience. I arrived & we looked at the pictures of what I wanted she was full of confidence & assured me she could do this for me. Once she cut my hair off she let me know she would be making lovely hair extensions with my beautiful hair, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Long story short my hair looks nothing like the picture. I wont go back.
I have been going to this salon for years now. I am in my early twenties and I absolutely love this salon. I now live in Capitola and I always make trips up just to get my hair cut at compliments. This salon has very personable atmosphere the hair stylist Michelle Yarde always know what I want, even before I know. She is great and this salon is great.
