Have been going here for years, but I think I have to find a regular hairdresser. Have had a few excellent cuts here, quite a few more really terrible ones. Most were just OK, which kept me going back because a) I'm really not very picky, and b) it's very convenient. But I went in for a trim yesterday with the express instructions of "don't make the back too short, just taper the sides down a little" (including showing her with my fingers exactly what I meant), "lighten up the top layers, and keep the sides long enough that I can tuck it behind my ears." She discussed it with me for several minutes, I repeated the same instructions several times -- and the hair on the back is shorter than I have worn in in about 30 years. Even my husband looked kind of shocked to see it, and he generally doesn't notice my hair. And the sides are so short they barely stay tucked behind the ears. Very annoyed. I told her I like the hair kind of longish in the back because I have a low hairline on my neck (showed her by lifting my hair) and like to keep it covered. Ok, she seemed to understand all of it. And the hair is above my hairline on the neck, and where before it was long-ish layers I could wrap around a curling brush, it is now really short layers from the back of my skull to the bottom. Jeepers. It's not the worst cut I've gotten there - at least the layers are even - but is NOT what I asked for. Not going back.

I get my haircut here all the time, friendly staff and great customer service. I checked in with their new online check-in and got a seat soon as I showed up. Low prices and knowledgeable stylist.
