terrible customer service! they are really rude and braid super tight charge way too much for minor touchups and will never go back
I called this week to get some of my braids redone. I was calling from work and called around to see if anyone could do the braids that day. Braids by Betty said they were able and asked me to leave work at that moment. I did exactly that: shut down and hopped in the car. I arrived at Braids by Betty to an unoccupied, locked-up braiding shop. I called both numbers displayed in the awning. The first said they were open from 7am until midnight and gave a second number. I called the second number and someone answered. They said they had waited for me and then decided to go home, could I come tomorrow. This was very unprofessional. They had not asked me where I was coming from so they should have waited until I arrived. Before leaving, they did not give me a call. And they were totally unsympathetic or apologetic when they found I had arrived. I am not sure what experience other consumers have with braiding shops but this is typical. The owners are interested in getting your money for the least amount of effort. You are not treated with dignity or respect. I have a choice where I spend my money as do you. I would not spend it here and do not advise you to either.
