great folks very friendly. I was a little irritated that I had to have a consult before treatment even though I have had Lazer many times at other places. BUT, they want to make sure you are ok for lazer, and the prices are so good. I just did the consult. glad I did
I have purchased LivingSocial certificate for one year of their services. I tried to schedule an appointment by calling their office and sending messages through their website. There is no response! I suspect that they are waiting until the certificate will expire and I will have to use certificate paid value without the discount. It is nice strategy to bring new clients who does not want to lose their money spent on the certificates, but not to honor the discounts. However, this strategy is not honest at all. I am going to request a refund from Living Social.
I bought a groupon in 2013 excited to try a new company and lost the entire amount because it was so difficult to get a call back for an appointment. When I did have an appointment booked they lost the booking. It became a hassle over a three month period and when I finally decided to give it another try my Groupon had expired. Hate to write bad review but I didn't even get to try their services other than a skin test session. It was a small place and I understand they were probably overwhelmed by Groupon users, but geesh. I've never dealt with a salon with such bad scheduling issues. Maybe it was just me this happened to but I am extremely disappointed. I didn't even check to see if they are a BBB member :/ Hopefully they've improved in that area. BACK TO WAXING
I have had my second visit to Mile High Laser and Aesthetics. I must say that my impressions and experience were even better than the first and I was more than happy with the first visit. Kris Brown, the owner and primary technician is practicing a business model that is an obvious reflection of her character and this makes me very comfortable and happy to do business with her. She is friendly, generous and sincerely helpful. This is a service that I never anticipated treating myself to and honestly, it has felt like a big decision but after these two visits, I know that I have made a good choice in several ways. Kris is all about delivering value. She explained that she offered the Livingsocial deal I bought not just to launch her business but also to counter exploitive practices often found in the aesthetic industry. Again, I have learned that this is as much a statement about Kris as it is a business model. We started by talking about the areas included in the deal and ended with me getting what works best with areas I want to work on, as if the final satisfaction and HAPPINESS were all that we were talking about all along. We started with the time frame of the and ended with me knowing that we are not finished until the job is finished. Finally, there could be a gender-based awkwardness for me about this whole endeavor but there is none whatsoever. I have never felt that I have any reason to feel embarrassed or ashamed with Kris. It's a place to feel comfortable just being me and I am sure this would be true for anyone who works with her to meet their aesthetic needs or desires. Go for it!
Kris is great, and prices are wonderful.
