So far I have to give one star for this place. I haven't even been there yet, and now I'm not sure I want to. I have a Groupon to try it out. Supposedly you have to make an appointment with a specific person to use it. I tried the number and the voicemail box is full. I found an email and sent a message via that, and have gotten no response. I finally called the salon's "main number" and left a voicemail, and have received no response to that either. I just tried calling again and, again, no answer. This is terrible customer service (non-existant from what I can tell so far). It's no wonder they have to use Groupons and the like to try to get customers if they treat them this way. I'm about to contact Groupon and let them know about this and ask for my money back. I'm bummed because I was really looking forward to my mani/pedi. I cannot, however, wait around to hear back "maybe someday" as I have an event coming up and need my nails looking pretty. Booooo on this place. This is not how to run a successful business.
Eek .. I'm from Alaska flying to Denver and looking around at Spas, the fact that right from the gecko there is already bad reviews about no one at least calling back is worrisome so i'm not even going to try calling. I continued reading down to see if any reviews got better and although they DID the response the owner wrote to another client seemed kind of harsh and disrespectful. Overall - I haven't even been here and i'm already throwing my hands up like "Nope!" not with the reviews and definitely not with how responses are handled. "JoJo Ogg (Client) a year ago Went in to redeem a coupon and had called numerous times to schedule an appointment. Never received any information back or spoke with a person. Very uppity and not accommodating. Would not recommend this to anyone. Response from the owner a year ago First, I want to say that if you had a coupon, there would be a direct phone number on that coupon for the tecnician who that coupon was with. And if you never spoke with a person then how can you say that it was "uppity and not accomodating"? Then you are saying that you "Went in to redeem a coupon" but how could you do that without schedulling an appointment first? And if you never spoke with a person then how did you get an appointmen? It sounds a little strange... If a client leaves a message on our main phone we always call back and try to be as helpful as possible."
SOOOO disappointed! I found an AMAZING Groupon deal around Valentine's Day and have been trying to contact the specific person listed since then. I've called everyday and left at least 4-5 detailed messages and still to this day no call back. I have called the spa phone number several times as well. Get no answer and no call back to the messages I've left. It's very disappointing and now has made me not even want to give my business. This is horrible customer service!
I initially called (October) due to an amazon local deal for a massage. I had been excited to check this place out because it is so close to my fitness club (Pura Vida). I called Oxygen for 7 business days straight, left several voice messages and even went by to no avail. No one ever returned my call. Each time I stopped by the masseuse was in a session. They assured me that he would call, but no one was able to schedule an appointment for me because they said he schedules his own. I never heard from anyone so I gave up and had amazon local refund my voucher. Two months later (December, 2013) I purchased another amazon local deal for Oxygen, but for a shellac manicure/pedicure. Again I called several times over a 5 business day period and stopped by. No one ever returned my call and when I stopped by around 4:30pm on a Tuesday, the lights were off and the door was locked even though closing time was listed as 7pm. I called amazon local and had them refund the voucher again. Maybe you'd have a better experience.
I go to Honey for my hair and Jeff for my massages. For the past 2 years Honey has given me consistently great service for my haircuts, color, and nails, I always feel beautiful and fabulous when I leave. Jeff gives an awesomely relaxing massage, the best I've ever had. I highly recommend both of them.
