Maddy did a super job on both my cut and highlights. I really appreciated her taking the time to customize an appointment time for me. She really worked around my schedule to accommodate my needs. I had an incredible number of compliments on my hair! THANKS! Kari

As along time client of James Mucker I have to give a shout out to James and David and the Salon as a whole. I like to say "My stylist is SOOOO talented." Best haircuts in the world and everyone there is always friendly, professional and having fun doing what they do.

I have never written a review, but saw the other postings and noticed that James has not been recognized. He is the best! I have been having my hair done (cut, color & blown-dried) for almost 30 years by him. It started with my wedding day. He has also taken care of many celebrities when they are in town. He keeps current and listens to his clients needs. He does take his time though. I highly recommend James and Salon Utopia.

I have been going to this salon for a color every 4/5 weeks for the past six months. The time before last it took two hours for a color, trim and blow dry!!! On 01 May I had an appointment at 9:30am, and had to wait until 10am to be attended to. My female stylist did not put a towel around my neck, just a gown, put the color only on the roots, and left me to sit there for for 40 mins whilst she ate an apple, chatted with colleagues, and spent time texting on her ‘phone together with finishing off two other clients. The color on this occasion was not applied to the ends, and blow dry was very basic with no finishing touches. I really enjoy the color I have been given, but it’s now time to move on because of lack of attention to detail and quality of service.

I saw David. I was bored with my hair design and confused as to what i wanted. He took from the little I said I like and created the best haircut I have ever had. Well worth the price and I will be going back
