With Glenwood Springs being a small town and all it mind boggleing that a manager of a nail salon could afford to be SOOOO RUDE!!!!! I have gone to this nail salon for about 4 years sort of ignoring the lack of cusotmer service because the prices beat Aspen by far but one afternoon I had the worst experience of my life! I walked in the door and instead of saying hi... she yelled me saying "you don't like manacurist next up, you wait!" I said, "what are you talking about.. I have no idea what you are talking about?" Anyway this back and forth a bit and all I could remember is about 3 years I said my nails were bubbling after drying and wanted them redone. I did not deserve to be humiliated infront a full salon and have everyone stare at me when I get my nails done like I was the was wrong. The employees all spoke Vietnamese when I was getting my nails done, about me, laughing! Yes I still got my nails done... I was desperate! I did not tip either technician and told them to get there tip from manager... since it was her fault they did not get tipped. Needless to say I never returned and this happen aver 2 years ago. I am only writing this since I am still looking for an inexpensive quick salon to get my nails done and that is open Sunday's, and saw these 2 posts while doing my google search ! I HATE SAVVY NAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE AT A NAIL SALON EVER!! I called before I went in to make sure they could get me in. They assured me they could. I arrived and they told me one of their male manicurists would be seeing me right away, and to pick out a color. 5 minutes after I had arrived, another woman showed up and requested the same man that was supposed to be giving me my manicure. The manicurist took her first and proceeded to leave me sitting with my feet soaking in a cold water bath. As I realized what was happening, I got up to leave. They rushed me back to my seat and told me that I was going to be seen by a female manicurist right away. They sent over an Asian woman that did not understand a word of English; everything had to be translated through all the other workers. After 5 minutes it was clear that this woman not only did not have her manicurist license, but she had zero experience giving manis/pedis at all. Everything she did, from filing to paint application, looked like a 3 year old had done it. When I spoke up, they sent another woman over to redo everything this woman had already done. I ended up being there for over 2 hours. When I finally got up to leave because I had an appointment I had to keep, one of the nails the manicurist had put waaaay too much paint on was smudged, and when I asked them to redo the one nail, they scolded me for putting on my shoes before they were dry. I had been there for 2 1/2 hours, and they scolded ME!?! It was by far the most unprofessional, aggravating, utterly insane experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Not only do they have people working there without a license, but they definitely do not sterilize their equipment. DO NOT GO TO SAVVY NAIL!!!!
