PAULA is a PRO!!! Not only does she listen she mastered my haircut. She didn't let me walk out looking like boozo the clown, like so many other stylist do. She is very flexible and can get you in a day or two not 2-3 weeks out. She is very affordable and she talked me into washing my hair after. I was a little hesitate as I have never done that but the shampoo and massage she gave me, made me realize I was missing something for so long. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair and send all my friend and visitors to Paula.
Pro Styles Hair Salon is the place to go in Salida! I was so delighted to find this little gem hidden inside a small strip mall between a nail salon and a Subway. Paula has a gift - she is unnerved by my extra thick hair, which requires my appointments to run twice as long as normal, but she seems unfazed. Nor does she double her costs like so many others have done all my life. Paula is sweet, knowledgeable, chatty enough without being too chatty, and knows when to just let me be quiet and rest. Her prices are fair and her expertise is lengthy. Color, styles, advice, haircuts - all superb! Also, she takes credit cards - The other three salons in town that I went to before did not accept credit cards, so I quit going to them. I don't walk around with lots of cash, so that was important to me. A business owner myself, I have learned that you always need to make it easy for the customer to spend their money!! Something the other salons could definitely learn.
