I should have know for the moment I sat down in Nicolette's chair that things would only get worse. When I showed her a specific picture of exactly how I wanted my hair, (a picture of me two years prior with dark base color and highlights) she suggest doing a glaze over all my blonde. She told me it would darken my color and allow my highlights to come through. I explained my hesitations and she said she thought doing a glaze would be better than low-lights, or filling in the blonde and then adding a few highlights. She seemed very dazed and confused by my request. I also was told by both her and the receptionist (her sister) that she had 10 years experience. This however was faulty information, how could a 24 year old have 10 years experience. She claims she has "been doing hair for 10 years, but only licensed for 2". I specifically asked for someone with experience with color correcting. During my appointment a stylist was doing her own color out on the floor, very unprofessional. I know this because I worked in upscale salons for over 5 years and that would never fly. My hairdresser reeked of cigarettes and did not make me feel welcome or comfortable in her chair. To top it all off my hair is now ORANGE and getting worse as it rinses. Now, I am getting married next year and have to damage my hair and pay double what I should have to get my hair fixed. I will never go back there again!
I absolutely love this place. I recommend Dom, he's young but knows what he's doing. He works fast and is very flexible. The price is a little expensive but its well worth every penny, I walked out with an extra pep in my step feeling and looking AMAZING
I got a trim that took 20 min here and they charged me $50. That seemed really expensive for a mall haircut. I was not happy with the results and still had split ends because she didn't trim enough off. :( Now I just wasted $50 and have to go get my haircut again.
