I have to say, what a good barber she is. She does well as she love it from the bottom of heart.

Best haircut EVER PERIOD! Like the rest of the reviews say this place is amazing and Ann gives great haircuts. It was my first time ever having the "barber shop" experience and I was sure glad I didn't go to some other place. Besides having excellent customer service skills she also has excellent people skills. It was the first time I met her but that "awkward" stage when you normally meet someone for the first time was skipped. But yea I'd definitely recommend this place to other people in the Storrs area! EDIT: She moved her shop to the bottom of the same building!

I decided to stop by after reading the positive reviews and I was not disappointed! Quality service comes from people who love their job and after you visit Ann your haircut will be testament that she loves what she does.

Anne has been cutting my husband's hair for 17 years and my son's hair since he was 6 months old. She's a member of the family now :) our son loves going to see Mrs York. We drive halfway across Connecticut every 3 weeks to see her. She's always a joy and welcomes regulars and new customers cheerfully. Just remember, she's a barber not a hairdresser!! Also, she has moved to a new location, downstairs from the old spot. So no more rickety stairs, ground level entrance for anyone who needs better accessibility.

Anne, the owner and operator of York's a wonderful and friendly woman who gives an excellent haircut. She takes the time to cut your hair the way you like it and make sure you walk out looking great and feeling good. She's happy to chat the entire time you're there and makes you feel comfortable. I'd recommend the shop to anyone in the area looking for a place to have regular haircuts, or just a one time stop.
