Not great. Got my mani-pedi a few times. Inexpensive and felt like they offered a lot for the buck. The manicure never lasted longer than a few days. This time I left a 10% tip (have to pay before they complete the job). The lady laughed and said that she expected at least a 15% tip. I saw her later go into the bathroom, come out and rinse her hands with water and not use soap... Not going back there. Doesn't feel like it is a clean place.
This salon was wonderful, my nail tech was Sam. He was meticulous and gave a luxurious foot and leg massage during the pedicure and a full on heated neck and back massage while I waited for my nails to dry. It was wonderfully relaxing and I will certainly be returning to this salon. Don't be fooled by it's unassuming placement, the service is top notch!
Was the WORST manicure I have ever had. My nails were destroyed. They files them SO short, SO uneven that it hurt. They were completely unhelpful when I asked for someone else to try and "fix" them. The polish job was SO BAD (all over my fingers, it was bubble up), that I stopped at CVS and bought nail polish and redid them myself when I got home. What a waste of $15. I even, supposedly, talked with the owner who was rude, arrogant and completely unhelpful. Definitely spend your money & your time somewhere else.
I've gotten many pedicures at Grace nails and I like them because they take a full hour and are very thorough. I don't like however, the men who work there giving me a pedicure. They are way too rough and some don't speak any English at all and have to have what I'm saying translated. I went home once with a swollen ankle (happened after I left) because of a vein that was pressed on too hard. I would ask them lighter pressure, but it was a bit lost in the translation. I've always had good experiences with the women and the owners are very nice. It's not a "spa" experience b/c they're very busy and you don't have any privacy, but for the price, it's an overall good experience.
absolutely the best mani and pedi. I always ask for appt w Sam. I took my daughter and Mike was just as meticulous. the pedi was just too awesome. not rushed. as fr the mani...ive nvr had a regular mani last fr more thana few days. but the UV gel mani lasts 2 wks..ive gone 3 wks wen schedule is crazy. it includes parrafin hand tmt, neck and back massage w moist heated towels (wrapped plastic to keep u dry). after leaving i feel as though i cldnt leave a lg enuf tip bc of the additional massage, parrafin tmt and hand and arm massages. so professional. im completely de-stressed. i can only vouch fr sam and mike although sam required assistance once wen i was late and during my pedi a lady helped get my mani started (gel has to be soaked a few min) she was just as meticulous. most importantly, when u leave your nails are impecable...no bits to fix or pick off. my nails arent thinned out by over grinding w mech file. perfectly shaped. and jst fyi, if u brk a nail or scuff the end of ur polish off before u get bak there u can file it to a new end surface and the polish doesnt lift or flake. good luck . if u skip this place itll b the $30 u wasted somewhere else. truly Spa tmt!
