Visiting D.C. from San Francisco, got my nails done today at LV. Walked in with a friend, we both got our nails done immediately. Really nice decor inside, very clean, a row of massaging chairs, flat screen TV, nice colors. The owner gave me the best hand massage. Staff were very courteous and professional. And the price was less than 1/2 of the most well-reviewed nail shop in the neighborhood. My nails look great. Go there!!
A friendly salon with excellent techs who know what they're doing. $28 for both mani and pedi is an excellent deal. Tools are sterilized and opened right in front of you. Clean and friendly!
It seems they only like to get walk-ins. I called today to make an appointment with one specific manicurist. After passing the phone from hand to hand, they finally seemed to accept it. When I later showed up, the manicurist I had selected told me that somebody else was going to take care of me. I insisted the appointment was with him but he simply replied he was "too busy" and that the appointment "must have been a misunderstanding". They always claim to not understand English when they want to have their way... totally unprofessional !!!
