Don't even think of buying any gift certificate from this salon. They will ripped you off!!! my bro got me a gift certificate worth a hundred sixty, he told me that he got me a package deal, with hair colors, mani pedi and some spa. So i went there and decided to just get a hair color and some haircut which i assumed wouldn't cost much and the lady on the front desk did assure me that the worth of my certificate would still give me some extra and i could come back to get another service for that big extra amount. So i was pretty much happy and i waited for almost an hour which i can understand because i didnt set an appointment. so, i met my stylist, she was friendly, I told her about my certificate, she colored my hair and blow dried and cut. So, when i got to the cashier, i was told that it costs $180 and i ended up paying for $20 more plus the tip. I was very disappointed! i got a haircut thats worth almost $200!!! I understand that the color must have made it too pricy and its not like i have a long hair. i have a short bob anyways, to top it all, my sis also got a gift certificate and same worth as mine but she went on a different day and she wanted to get a highlights and haircut. she told me that when she got to the cashier, the hair stylist only charged her $120 but then the lady on the front desk, or the receptionist changed the price in the receipt, letting her know it's not right and added amount on each services to the point that it cost her more than $160, i think she paid $10 more plus the tips! isnt that a ripped off? it's not like we want to get a refund for the extra amount of the certificate, we were hoping we could use it for another day with a different service. i told this to my friends and they were shocked too. i wont ever go to this salon again!!!
My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas. After a terrible day which included a long wait (in a practically empty salon) and a very expensive bad haircut (stylist left it damp and unstyled), I ended up using the rest of my gift certificate on products. I did not want to set foot in there ever again. Even the cost of the products were higher than my normal salons! Don't waste your money. They aim for high class but fall way short on courtesy, style-sense, and value.
Took my daughter here to get a mother/daugher massage, pedicure, make-up, and manicure. Overall, the massage was the best part, that was really great, but I was really disappointed with the quality of service we recieved for our nails and my daughter's make-up. The lady who did both our pedicures and my manicure, and my daughter's make-up did a terrible job when it came to putting the polish on our feet and nails, and when applying my daughter's makeup. I couldv'e just did all of that at home and it wouldv'e turned out better. Our toes and nails both looked awful and I was really disappointed with her work. Do they not test out the people's work before hiring them to do nails, etc, because she needs more practice obviously. I feel that if I need another massage, then that will be the only way we return, and we will stick to going to the chinese nail shops to get our feet and nails done, and spend our money appropiately. I felt like I wasted my money at this spa/salon. Not at all impressed!!!
