I have been seeing Kelly for hair care for several years. Most time it's for a trim or if I want a change in hair style. I had been growing me hair out for a couple of years and had been out of state and had a couple of bad hair cuts. I made an appointment with Kelly and said do what you want. She responded "really, I can do what I like? I think a Bob would look great on you." So she did her magic. I loved the cut and style and posted my new look on Facebook. Everyone loved it! My friends love it, my co-workers love it, and I love it because all I have to do is wash my hair, fluff it with my fingers, and off I go. Thanks Kelly...
I went to this salon for simple hi and low lights. I brought 4 pictures. I was very specific and had the color numbers previously used on my hair. Kelly would not use the colors I requested for one, she then did something I've never seen or had done which was a "root touch up". she then put hi's and low's in my hair. I was there 5 hours. The result was horrible and I told her so. My hair was red/orange without exaggeration! She said to give it some time and let her know if I wanted it "fixed". I didn't need "time" to know it had to be fixed. I consulted a color specialist at a well known salon who told me what had been done would be very hard to fix and costly. I did not want Kelly to fix my hair after she would not listen to or pay attention to what I requested or the images I gave her. I had no confidence she could do it and I didn't have another 5 hrs to waste. I am unemployed and saved for over a month to get a freshed up look for job interviews but I was devastated at the result. When I called Kelly she admitted it was red and said she would try to fix it, I paid $137. for the service. I requested a refund of the 80.00 for color so I could get it re-done. She refused. She then refused to take my phone calls and was very rude. I do NOT recommend her at all. There is another client of hers that had the same experience who posted on "Yelp". Do your research and find another salon. I'm now forced to take her to small claims court.
