My rating is based on my experience with Crystal. Crystal has been cutting my hair for almost three years every three weeks, that's about 50 times. Every single time I get treated very well. She does an excellent job and treats me like a friend. My interactions with the other stylists are positive but I won't let anyone else cut my hair out of loyalty to her because she is excellent at her craft and is friendly.

So this place is a hit or miss. More often than not I've had good cuts, but sometimes you get that one gal that just doesn't cut it.... I've been going here ever since the Barbor Shop across the parking lot of Hair Cuttery closed. In the year that I've been going here the prices have increased twice. It is now 22 bucks for a single hair cut. I believe when I first started going here it used to be 15 or 17, then it was increased to 20, and then now it's 22. I hope this is the last increase or else I'm going to go somewhere else. They seem to always be busy. At least half of seats are always filled when I go in. I typically just walk in and pick whoever has the next opening available. Everyone is always pleasant and the service is decent, but sometimes you get someone that just doesn't put the time and care into cutting.

All these places are the same. Sometimes you get a mediocre stylist, sometimes you get a great one. I'm not one for paying $50 to get my haircut from a "pro" salon. By far the BEST experience I ever had was at the Hair Cuttery off of Hodges and JTB in the Publix shopping center, but I have never had a horrible experience. I've been to the RC Marketplace one dozens of times, it is most convenient, and I have never felt "unwelcome." It is just a normal business like everywhere else.

My boys and I have our hair cut on a regular basis. We have been very pleased with this store. They have done a consistent job in service and profesionalism. I do have a bit of concern with one or two of the staff that does not communicate well in English. Overall a well managed store.
