I used to be an avid customer, but as of lately I've become very dissatisfied with SportClips. The service is hit-or-miss, and feels as if the staff doesn't care about the customer's needs and tries to cut their hair as fast as possible to get you in and out. A former SportClips employee told me that the stylists aren't allowed to spend more than 20 minutes with a customer. After I stopped going to SportClips, I found a barbershop called Jacca's which is located on Alafaya on Colonial. At Jacca's, the stylists don't work for the barbershop, they rent the chairs they use and build their own clientele. Since I began going to Jacca's, I now realize what a good haircut experience is. In contrast to SportClips, stylists at Jacca's spend as much time on your hair as needed, and it's about $10 cheaper than SportClips. Jacca's also includes beard trims/styling into the price, unlike SportClips who charge $5 even if the beard trim takes a minute. I wouldn't recommend going to SportClips, or any franchised hair-cuttery. Smaller barbershops give better service for a better price.

My son and I have visited this haircut place 3 times but the last 2 visits have left a lot to desire. First time we went there the manager Denise was very nice, however, the last 2 visits she has lacked professionalism and less charisma. I'm not sure she has man personal issues in her life but that however, it's no excuse! She was very rude with my son when he was trying to lower the high chair as he was waiting for his turn. I was told earlier that day another kid fell off the chair when playing with it but that gives her NO right talking to him in a bad tone. I even asked another hair stylist to cut my son's hair because I didin't want her loose her patient with my son. The other hair stylists in this place are really nice though! Whatever personal issues she has it should not be reflected at work and customers should not be her "crucificial lamb". Now, regarding the "survey"...that was a waste of time filling it out let me tell you! I filled it out 2 weeks ago and do you think they've contacted me? I'm glad I didn't hold my breath! DON'T GO THIS PLACE! You can definitely get good haircut and at a lower price in other haircut places!

Not what I thought I would get for the price I paid. After I left here I had to go to different barbershop to get my cut fixed. Didn't like it I will not waste my time going back

I enjoyed my recent visit to Sport Clips...Monique was Amazing! From beginning to end, She was so pleasant in the introduction, (My Son was being a bit rude and not at all excited about the trip to the Barber Shop) Monique did and amazing job of handling the situation and my Son was extremely pleased. I don't know what she did/said to him but he said he wanted to come see her for his next haircut! WOW! She gave some great suggestions for our hair upkeep and was very informative about the products. I bought Michael the Fiber Puck by American Crew. Love it! Thanks Monique - You Rock!
