My girl friends and I had the unfortunate opportunity to get a manicure and pedicure from the Styling Loft last weekend. We were all part of a bridal party and called ahead to make sure the loft could accomodate us. We each got a manicure and pedicure to the tune of $55 per person. Although this is average for a mani-pedi combo, the service was horrible. Both the manicure and pedicure consisted of lotion, filing, and painting. I could have done this myself at home and saved a LOT of money. In addition, we all asked for a french manicure. The tips of the manicure looked like they had been painted by a 5 year old. Very sloppy and looked horrible. The bride requested a single artificial nail because one of her nails had broken the previous day. Within 3 hours of leaving the salon the acrylic on the artificial nail turned yellow and started to bubble up. Needless to say, we all went home and re-did our nails!! We would have complained at the time of the service, but did not want to make a scene on the brides' big day!!
