Serenity Day Spa & Salon
Reviews
I went to this spa yesterday for a massage, facial and mani, pedi. The massage therapist kept talking almost the whole time she was giving me a massage. Her shoes were squeeking so it was hard for me to relax and enjoy the massage in-between her chatting me up. She ended my massage 15 minutes earlier, and did not wipe off excess massage oil from my body. The facial was amazing. The lady who did my facial was very attentive to detail and provided a condusive environment for me to relax and enjoy my facial. The mani/ pedi was a disaster. First her clothes were covered with dust particles from other peoples nails, the counters had dirty towels, and had not being cleaned or wiped off. The tubs looked liked they were supposed to be white originally, but were light brown color from not being washed. I watched this lady rinse off the tub after me with just water. No disinfecting...no wonder they had turned colors. She did not cut my cuticle, which at this point am thinking it's a blessing in disguise (who know what kind of infection I would have gotten). All in all, I would not recommend this place (maybe for a facial). The health department seriously needs to go inspect the nail salon before someone gets a deadly infection.
