We went for pedi and wife had brow wax. She was told, during brow wax, it would help her face to remove facial fuzz and make the skin softer. She was never asked any questions to screen for sensitivity, appropriateness, etc. Wife indicated this was her first time for a face wax, she was nervous but was given reassurances by Kim. Her face was red and burning afterwards, asked by Kim during pedi how she was doing, again expressing redness and burning, was assured it would take a couple of hrs. Later same day returned because. Kim did seem concerned but only suggestion was coca butter would help. Day 2, she looks like she has 3rd degree burns, we are returning today to have them see her face (visual inspection!) as she may now need to go to her skin dr for $$ to make sure she has not had permanent damage. No compensation offered during any of this. DO NOT use for face waxing. Pedicures we got were ok, not as good as other places, though everyone seemed nice and inside was large and decorated classy. Will not return and if anything changes will update my review good or bad, which I do not like to do...but need to warn others so they don't have our experience.
This is by far the most luxurious and organized nail salon I have ever seen. The staff is professional and friendly, the service is timely and pampering, and the atmosphere is so calming. After a long week, I brought a friend for pedicures and our jaws dropped open when we stepped into the salon. Definitely will be going back, and I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to indulge.
