Supercuts

Not a good place to get a haircut. Went there a couple times and I thought I looked good but I got bad feedback from my friends and family. They're too quick, I think on average it takes 5-7 minutes to get a haircut. Very messy and uneven.
I stopped here, drawn in by a $8.99 hair cut sign. This was to be a lesson: you get what you pay for. The hairdresser/manager cut my hair with clippers, even after I told her they usually use scissors, telling me that #6 guard would cut my hair to about 3/4". I didn't look too closely while I was there, but, when I got home, I noticed it was less than a half inch long. When I called back, I began to see the merits of having a separate manager who does not do any of the work directly. This would have allowed an impartial third party, rather than an argumentative, defensive woman, to resolve the conflict. After she argued with me for a while, I hung up and called Regis corporate. After several transfers, I was told that this was a franchise, and that I could leave a message for the woman who handled those stores. I did so; 3 days later, I have yet to receive a call. Let's be clear. I wasn't looking for anything too crazy; just for them to apologize and maybe offer me a free haircut when enough had grown out for them to fix it. I certainly didn't expect an attitude that, no matter what, I was wrong. Certainly not after tipping her $4 for a botched cut. I'm not hard to keep happy. Even after the screw-up, I'd have been quite happy with just an apology, not even an offer to fix the damage. I tipped her well, as I always do, because I've worked tipped professions before; my empathy was not met in kind. I have avoided SuperCuts for about a decade now due to a similar incident; now, never again. I will be going to Great Clips to get my hair cut from now on.
I recently moved to the area and thought I would check this place out.I have been back several times now because they do a great job with color and cuts.
