I went here when I was 9 months pregnant with a friend for pedicures and to get my acrylics removed. When I told them I wanted them removed the lady ask why and I told her because I was about to give birth and in case I had to have a C-section I couldn't have them because of the pulse thing they put on your finger. My doctor ask me to remove them. She then confronted me telling me that there was no way my doctor said that because she had a child and had them on, basically calling me a liar. When finally she sat me down to take them off she had me in a corner table with my hands soaking for well over a hour and a half while she did my friends pedicure. most of the time when women go in to get pedicures they want to get them together. I said I would never go back, until today I desperately needed a pedicure and couldn't find any place open so I called to see what the hours were. A guy answered the phone and I said "What time do you close?" He answered with " We are already closed, we close at 6. We are finishing up with customer, we open 10 in morning to 9 at night tomorrow BYE." Great job running off business. I was going to give them a second chance, not now! I will NEVER go back and I DO NOT recommend them to anyone!
Took my adult daughter and nieces to Silky nails today for a girls night out. Never again. We were rushed through color selection and separated though we asked for more time (no one else in the salon). The attendant working with my niece put a random color on her nails (as she is young and polite--she didn't know what to do). When I pointed out that we were lead to the chairs and my niece and I were supposed to pick out colors together AFTER the polish removal, the attendant waited to get my niece alone and called her a liar. I went to the manager to report that it was inppropriate and unprofessional as well as threatening for her to address the child directly. There were no attempts to correct the polish or the nasty employee. The design work was subpar (the Letter R did not look like anything). When I asked for an apology I was given confrontation. Don't take your kids here--very unfriendly and rushed. Over priced and of course, they speak another language to solve the problem making it even more frustrating. Should have driven across town to Lynn Nails==next time for sure.
I went there with a friend to get a tips on my finger nails and white tips on my toes. The people were pretty nice there. I have been to several other places and this one has to be one of the worst on pricing and quality. My toes we ok but they did not really massage your legs and feet like other places. They pretty much just washed and trimmed my toe nails and then painted my toe nails. $30 down the drain I think and that's just on the pedicure along. Next I went and had tips put on my finger nails. I already had a set on and the guy started ripping those off. Now I can take pain pretty well because other's have done this to me but this guy was very PAINFUL. He didn't even end up finishing the job either he left one on and just put the tip on from that. The nails are uneven and some are thicker than others. Needless to say I will NEVER go back again.
