I wanted to share my experience at the Salon & Day Spa on Saturday, March 15, 2014. This was my first visit to the salon and I truly had a very nice experience having my hair cut, colored and highlighted. My hair stylist, Anita, (I think that was her name) was very attentative to me and let me show her some pictures I had brought of styles and highlight coloring. She talked with me about best color choices and matched the best color for me. As I sat in the chair getting my hair cut, I noticed how busy the salon was. The salon is decorated nicely and offers a variety of hair products, makeup and jewerly. I was so impressed at how the staff was working, cleaning, and helping their customers. I was so happy with my haircut and highlights that I decided to make a future appointment with the stylist and hope that I will always continue to have such pleasant visits at this salon. If you are looking for a nice salon with staff that will listen to you and understand what you want, then you should make an appointment at Salon & Day Spa. Thanks.

I called a week ahead and made my appointment, only to arrive and be ignored while the receptionist talked on the phone. Then I was informed that my appointment had been written down for the day before, which was not the day I chose for my appointment when I called a week earlier. So not only was I ignored by the receptionist for 5 minutes, but they wrote my appointment down wrong too. This was supposed to be for my wedding, so it's a really big deal that they messed this up for me. I'm totally in shock at how unprofessional I was treated at this place. If you're okay with misplaced appointments and rude staff, then go ahead and go to this salon. If you don't like the aforementioned traits in a salon, I'd find somewhere else to spend money.
