I went from being a long haired blonde to mauve/orange color hair that was short and uneven from all the bleaching; few bad experiences at my old hairdresser's were enough to give me a chemical hair cut and ruin my hair. I came to Marisa (the owner) desperate to go back to blonde, without becoming bald in the process. Literally , the first time that Marisa ever did my hair, my hair was already visibly blonder ; the mauve shades were finally disappearing. The haircut that I got was very Posh Spice like and trendy and I was immediately able to feel excited about my hairdo ( something that I had not been able to do in a long time). Marisa nurtured my hair back to life: I now have my long, blonde hair back ;the process of getting it there was fun and filled with great shorter hair styles. Marisa is always more than attentive; J Michaels Salon is always very welcoming and , I must say, that every time that I visit them all of the clients that are there at the same time as I am have a smile on their faces- a true testament of the overall talent of every single hairdresser there. I strongly recommend it to everyone; after one time; you will find a hairdresser for a lifetime.

one of the worst hair cuts i have ever had. It was almost like the girl didnt know know how to cut hair, i asked for layers and all i got was a trim. 3 weeks later it doesnt look like i got it cut at all. such a disappointment!

The hairdresser (S.) totally messed up my hair. I didn't see it until the next day, when the curls she made disappeared. Then I was able to see that nothing was even. Looked awful.
